A Service which moves from darkness to light, including readings, hymns and choir pieces.

Advent Encounter Explore
Refreshments served in the Parish Hall from 6.45pm followed by reflection and discussion on the theme of grace. All are welcome, do come and join us.

Wednesday 4th December, 2-4pm
Open House in the Parish Hall.
A chance to enjoy carols and festive treats with friends.

Seniors’ Lounge in the Parish Hall
with Christmas Quiz and Carols.

Sunday 15th December, 2pm
Tots’ Nativity Service
Friendly and informal, with songs, activities & story time with puppets. Come and share the magic of Christmas with your little ones.

Carol Service
A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, to be recorded by BBC Radio Stoke and broadcast .

Sunday 22nd December, 9.30am
All Age Nativity Service
Suitable for all the family. Come dressed as a shepherd, angel or king if you would like to take part. Special guest appearance by theĀ  donkeys! Refreshments in the Parish Hall after the service and a play area for little ones.

Christmas Eve, 2pm, 3.30pm & 5pm
Crib Service
Dramatic re-telling of the Christmas story with plenty of carol singing. Suitable for all ages.
Arrive early to get a good seat!

Christmas Eve, 11.30pm
Midnight Mass
The climax of all the preparation through Advent. There’s nothing like the atmosphere of this night, as in the darkness we light the Christmas candle and celebrate the birth of Christ in a service of Holy Communion accompanied by more lovely music from St Mary’s Choir and well-known congregational carols. Carol singing by the choir before the service as the congregation arrives.

Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
A service of Holy Communion to celebrate the Nativity of our Lord, using the Book of Common Prayer, the King James Bible, and the singing of carols.

Christmas Day, 10am
All Age Communion
A Christmas Celebration of Holy Communion with a warm welcome to children and adults, families and individuals, humans and toys, happy or sad. Well-known carols and St Mary’s Choir.
