Rector – Barry Wilson

Barry has a teaching ministry and is passionate about making the Christian message accessible to people of all ages and interest. He holds the degrees of Master of Theology, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Ministry. Barry has been married to Yvonne for over 30 years. They have two children, Matthew and Emma, and two grandchildren, Christiana and Isla. Yvonne currently teaches English to foreign students.  Barry can be contacted on 01270 625268, or email.

Assistant Priest - Stephen Snelling

Stephen and his wife, Deborah, moved to Nantwich in December 2011 to be nearer to his family just over the border in Wales.  He has been Assistant Priest at St Mary’s since January 2012.  Before training for the Priesthood he was a banker by profession, specialising in risk matters.  He is delighted to have the opportunity of serving God and the Christian community here and is enthusiastic about the wide range of worshipping styles offered at St Mary’s.  He is also treasurer of Nantwich Street Pastors.

In his spare time he likes watching cricket (he is a member of the MCC), playing bridge and has recently joined the Nantwich Choral Society to keep up his love of singing.  Stephen and Deborah already feel very much at home in Nantwich and at St Mary’s in particular.  He can be contacted on 01270 665800, or email.

Curate - Tim Watson

Tim is a husband and a father. He loves, painting and creating conceptual art, writing poetry and liturgy. Tim is quietly charismatic and passionate about emerging forms of church. He adores contemporary art and is fascinated by the relationship between art and worship. Tim loves music, especially live concerts: He says his top three concert experiences include seeing Brian Wilson at the Glastonbury Festival, being blown away  watching Listener at Greenbelt and witnessing Toumani Diabate playing an hour long Kora solo.
